BassLine

Bass line consists of multiple drummers on a range of usually 5-6 drums. These drums vary in size ordered from smallest (bass 1) to largest (largest numbered bass). These drums are tuned respectively to their size as the first bass being the highest and the last bass being the lowest. Bass drums primarily use rythms called splits to make their section uniquely different. Splits are a certain amount of beats or rythms that are "split" and played by different bass drums. For example, a phrase consisting of 8 beats could be made into a split in which bass one plays 2 beats, bass two plays the next 2 beats, and so on until the rythm is completed.

Bass drums use specially designed BASS DRUM MALLETS in order to play.

Bass drums come in brands such as PEARL, YAMAHA, and LUDWIG.
